mirale collective is an in-person community in the San Francisco Bay Area centering women founders building regenerative businesses. It hosts live events, runs an incubator, and offers career coaching. It was founded by Angie Luo, and everyone is welcome to take part.

A regenerative culture doula is a guide who supports people and communities through the shift from extractive ways of working and living toward regenerative ones, much as a birth doula supports someone through the transition of birth. The word comes from birth work, but this is not birth or medical support. It’s the title Angie Luo uses for her work, which draws on her training as a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and Participatory Community Facilitator and about 11 years of interfaith dialogue facilitation.

mirale means “see that you are seen.” It began in 2022 as an idea to support women of color navigating undervalued corporate work. Today it’s a Bay Area community for women who got tired of waiting for a seat at the table and are building their own, with their own values at the center.

Comadre is a Spanish word for co-mother. It honors founder Angie Luo’s Mexican-American heritage and reflects our purpose to co-mother life, with each other, Spirit, and Mother Earth. It’s the “C” in “Comadres Offering & Remembering Abundant Love.”

CORAL is our acrostic: Comadres Offering & Remembering Abundant Love. It’s also the name Angie Luo gives to the next stage of organizing she has been mapping since 2022, beyond Frederic Laloux’s “teal” model. She began with Zebras Unite, then found that teal didn’t fully address ownership and purpose in relation to trauma healing. Coral, a color some Spiral Dynamics writers place beyond turquoise, became her poetic name for an economy built on maternal economy principles and abundance.

The incubator is for women-identifying founders launching regenerative businesses, and it meets in person in San Francisco. A regenerative business moves in flow with life. It is rooted in a specific place, responds to the needs of the people and ecosystems around it, and lives in symbiotic relationship with all of life, instead of extracting from it.

A regenerative business is rooted in place, creates with stewardship for life at the center, and actively rejects the capitalist, extractive status quo. Instead of taking more than it gives, it’s designed to benefit people, community, and the land it depends on.

Angie Luo offers liberation coaching, including career coaching, one-on-one and through group peer coaching. It’s for people who want to leave extractive grind culture and work that’s disconnected from purpose, reconnect with their authentic selves, their gifts, the land, and Spirit, and build a livelihood around that.
